‘Tattoo You’, Rolling Stones’ 18th American studio album was released 24 August 1981. The shirt was merchandise for the Stones’ 1981 American Tour. The tongue logo was created in 1970 by John Pasche, a Master of Arts student at the Royal College of Art in London. The logo was executed quickly toward the end of 1970. The release of the band’s classic ‘Sticky Fingers’ album in April 1971 marked its first public appearance. It was used on the back cover, on the label and, most prominently, on the insert.

The Black 1981 Rolling Stones T-Shirt from ThriftCon features short sleeves. Tagged XL, fits L/XL. Fading on graphics on front and back.
